On the one hand, a charming story about my canine brethren.

On the other hand, a discouraging story about a zoo's negligence re: its panda population.

Two panda cubs abandoned by their mother are being nursed by a dog instead. Apparently, this is a suitable arrangement. But I do not like the part about the zoo not knowing the mother was even pregnant. How could it not know? That is terrible.

Good luck, baby pandas. (Side note: Pandas are not entirely cute in the cub-stage; strange.)
